A Cozy Birthday Celebration for Shy Kids
Grace’s birthday was coming up, and everyone kept asking the same thing: “Are you having a big party?”
Grace wasn’t sure how to answer. She felt happy… but also a little shy.
“I think I just want something small,” she whispered to Waffles, her fluffy toy poodle.
Waffles tilted her head and gave Grace’s hand a gentle nudge. She understood.
So, Grace and Waffles planned a cozy celebration—just the way Grace liked it. They wore their comfiest pajamas, played soft music, and lit one candle on a little plate of chocolate cupcakes.
Waffles sat by Grace’s side, tail wagging. The sweet smell of cupcakes filled the air.
“I didn’t need a big party,” Grace smiled. “This is perfect.”
Waffles gave a happy woof. She thought so too.
